Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between weighted and unweighted GPA?

Unweighted GPA uses the 4.0 scale for every class. Weighted GPA adds extra points for harder classes: usually 0.5 for Honors and 1.0 for AP or IB.

Is an A+ worth 4.0 or 4.3?

Most schools count A+ as 4.0, but some use 4.3. Tick Count A+ as 4.3 if yours does.

How do I calculate cumulative GPA?

Tick Include my GPA from earlier semesters and enter your current GPA and credits.
