Frequently asked questions
Why is my download slower than my internet speed?
Speeds are sold in megabits per second, while downloads show megabytes per second. 1 byte is 8 bits, so 100 Mbps is about 12.5 MB/s at best.
What is the difference between MB and MiB?
MB is 1,000,000 bytes; MiB is 1,048,576 bytes. Windows often says MB when it means MiB.
