Is this dice roller fair?
Yes. Each die uses your browser’s cryptographically secure random generator, so every face has exactly a 1 in 6 chance. The animation only shows the result that was already rolled.
What are the odds of rolling a 7 with two dice?
7 is the most common total: 6 of the 36 combinations, or 1 in 6. 2 and 12 are the rarest at 1 in 36 each.
Are the dice laid out like real dice?
Yes. Opposite faces add up to 7, just like a real die: 1 is opposite 6, 2 opposite 5 and 3 opposite 4.
Can I use it for board games?
Yes. Use it for Monopoly, Yahtzee, Backgammon, Catan or any game with six-sided dice. Keep the page open and tap to roll each turn.
