Frequently asked questions
Which label sheets are supported?
Avery Letter sheets 5160 (8160), 5161, 5162, 5163, 5164, 5167, 5195 and 5159, A4 sheets L7160, L7161, L7162, L7163, L7165, L7173 and L7651, and any custom sheet you measure.
The print doesn’t line up with my labels. What do I do?
Print at 100% (Actual size), not Fit to page. Print one page on plain paper with outlines turned on, hold it over a label sheet, and if everything is off by the same amount, enter that shift in millimeters.
Can I use my spreadsheet?
Yes. Save it from Excel or Google Sheets as CSV, then open it here. Choose the column to encode and map other columns to the name, SKU, price, color, size, weight and date.
How do I make sequential numbers with leading zeros?
Use Number range with a start such as 000001, or set Minimum digits. A mask such as INV-######-2026 puts the number inside other text.
Can I make EAN or UPC codes in bulk?
Yes. Start with 12 digits for EAN-13 or 11 for UPC-A and each code gets its own check digit. For retail use, the numbers must belong to your GS1 company prefix.
Is there a limit?
Up to 5,000 codes at a time. Everything runs in your browser, so very large PDFs take a little while on slower devices.
